Welcome to Congresbury Parish Council

Play equipment on King George V playing field project starts

Congresbury Parish Council decided to set up a new project to review play equipment needs on the King George V playing field at its full council meeting on 15 August. Councillor Underwood is setting up a sub group to assist the council on making decisions on what new play equipment is required. Volunteers will be welcome to take part in this group. This group will also be assessing equipment needs for the Millennium Green.

Further speculative planning application

Congresbury Parish Council decided at its full council meeting on 15 August to recommend refusal for planning application for 47 houses and medical centre (application 22/P/1142/FUL) to North Somerset Council.

North Somerset Council has not yet reached a decision for planning application 22/P/0459/OUT for 90 houses on land off Mulberry Road. The Parish Council made this decision at its full council meeting on 7 April 2022. North Somerset Council will now assess all the objections. See our response here
