Vacancy – Administrator/Responsible Finance Officer
Starting salary £10,503 - £12,248 – 20 hours a week
Congresbury Parish Council is seeking an Administrator/Responsible Finance Officer (RFO) to bring improvements across the parish. The role is responsible for the overall financial management of the Parish Council assets.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills, proven IT skills and previous experience of budget setting and monitoring, preparing accounts, statements and returns for audit and using computerized accounting and payroll systems.
This is a varied and interesting role with opportunities to support councillors to make informed decisions. Attendance is required at some evening meetings, arranged as necessary throughout the year.

VACANCY FOR PARISH COUNCILLOR
Parish Council currently has 3 vacancies for Parish Councillors. The
Parish Council plays a vital role in the Parish of Congresbury, working towards
keeping the Parish an attractive place to live and influencing the future of
the area. The Parish Council holds meetings in the Old School Rooms once a
month, to which members of the public are invited. Meetings usually last up to
2 hours, depending on the agenda. In addition to regular meetings, councillors
are occasionally required to attend other meetings or events representing the
Council. Being a parish councilor will not take up too much of your time
and is something that can give you a sense of achievement. For more

FULL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
There was a meeting of the Full Parish Council on Monday 12th March 2018 at 7.30 pm in the St Andrews Room, Old School Rooms, Station Road, Congresbury. FOOTPATH AX29/30, FOOTPATH AX29/12 & STRAWBERRY LINE - NOTICE OF CLOSURE
A Notice has been issued by North Somerset Council to extend the closure of sections of the above for works by Bristol Water until 26 June 2018. Due to environmental reasons Bristol Water were unable to phase the works as anticipated and the footpaths and part of the Straberry Line have remained closed. These works will start again after April 2018. Diversions will remain in place. A full copy of the Order can be downloaded here .
