NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN
On 19 March North Somerset Council’s Executive agreed that the Plan should proceed to examination. Examination of the plan began on 8 April 2019. and the Examiners report was received on 10 June 2019. The Examiner has stated that modifications are necessary to the Plan in order for it to meet the relevant basic conditions. The Plan and Examiners report will go before Executive on 25 June and if the Examiners modifications are accepted then a referendum will be arranged and this is expected to be mid September 2019.

GOOSEUM RHYNE GROUND INVESTIGATION
The Environment Agency is carrying out some ground investigation works over the next few months which means that they will occupy some of the Millennium Green to undertake this vital work. It is to carry out a flood risk management works and also ecological surveys and other necessary ancillary works. The map of the works is contained here.

FULL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
There was a meeting of the Full Parish Council on Monday 10th June 2019 at 7.30 pm in the St Andrews Room, Old School Rooms, Station Road, Congresbury. PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
There is a meeting of the Planning Committee on Monday 24th June 2019 at 7.30 pm in the St Andrews Room, Old School Rooms, Station Road, Congresbury. The agenda for the meeting can be found here. Supporting documents are available via the Council Meetings tab.
VACANCY FOR PARISH COUNCILLOR
Parish Council currently has vacancies for Parish Councillors. The
Parish Council plays a vital role in the Parish of Congresbury, working towards
keeping the Parish an attractive place to live and influencing the future of
the area. The Parish Council holds meetings in the Old School Rooms once a
month, to which members of the public are invited. Meetings usually last up to
2 hours, depending on the agenda. In addition to regular meetings, councillors
are occasionally required to attend other meetings or events representing the
Council. Being a parish councilor will not take up too much of your time
and is something that can give you a sense of achievement. For more
