VACANCY FOR PARISH COUNCILLOR
A vacancy has arisen on the Parish Council due to the resignation of Cllr Richard Hill. This is in addition to the 3 existing vacancies which leaves the Parish Council operating at only two thirds of its approved strength. The Parish Council plays a vital role in the Parish of Congresbury, working towards keeping the Parish an attractive place to live and influencing the future of the area. CONCLUSION OF AUDIT

CONGRESBURY COMMUNITY LIBRARY
Congresbury Community Library opened on 1 July 2017. The library is funded by Congresbury Parish Council to provide a library service on behalf of the residents of the village and the wider community. The library is managed and manned by volunteers. The management group meet monthly to decide library issues. The trained volunteers run the library from day to day. WRINGTON LANE & KENT ROAD - NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE
A Notice of Intent has been issued by North Somerset Council for the temporary closure of a section of Wrington Lane & Kent Road for gas mains replacement. This will come into effect on 29 August 2017 for an expected duration of 4 weeks and 4 days. A copy of the notice can be downloaded here
MILL LANE - NOTICE OF TEMPORARY WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS
A Notice of Intent has been issued by North Somerset Council to temporarily restrict waiting and loading on Mill Lane for an anticipated period of 26 weeks from 12 July 2017. A copy of the Notice can be downloaded here
FOOTPATH AX29/30, FOOTPATH AX29/12 & STRAWBERRY LINE - NOTICE OF CLOSURE
A Notice has been issued by North Somerset Council to temporarily close sections of the above for works by Bristol Water from 27 June 2017. Due to environmental reasons Bristol Water were unable to phase the works as anticipated and the footpaths and part of the Straberry Line have remained closed.
